This session is meant to give you a ground-level understanding of where our transit system currently stands so that you can effectively advocate for improvements.  We will begin the session with an activity to get to know your fellow Academy participants. After that, we will invite speakers to discuss the social impact of transit in Tarrant County.  After a brief dinner break, we will learn about the Economic Impact of transit in our region.

The session will end with an optional debriefing at a local watering hole where you can socialize with your fellow Academy participants and discuss what you learned at the Academy sessions.
