The TTA Transit Academy is designed to equip private- and public-sector leaders across Tarrant County with the personal and group tools to lead conversations about the value of multi-modal transit across the region and the emerging mass transit options that can address our mobility needs in Tarrant County.

The Transit Academy is built around a four-session program

THE ECONOMIC & SOCIAL IMPACT OF TRANSPORTATION IN OUR REGION

Learn about the opportunities and disadvantages for our community from an economic and social equity lens

Session 2 - Jan 27, 2020

SCANNING THE LANDSCAPE & UNDERSTANDING CURRENT REALITY

Learn about the current and historical state of the system. Answer questions like "What is working?" "What are the challenges we are facing?" & "How did we get here?"

Session 3 - Feb 10, 2020

IDENTIFYING MODELS OF SUCCESS & EVALUATING OPTIONS IN OTHER COMMUNITIES FACING TRANSIT CHALLENGES

Learn about some of the options currently being evaluated for our community & weight the costs

Session 4 - Feb 24, 2020

CREATING THE CONVERSATION & ENGAGING THE COMMUNITY

Learn how to best advocate for transit improvements


All Sessions run from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM and will be followed by an optional post-event gathering at a local watering hole.  Dinner is included.
