Several Fort Worth City Council Members will be holding Town Halls to discuss the budget & hear from their constituents. We are calling on YOU to attend these Town Halls and let city council know how important transit is to you, your community, and your business. 

The District 6 Town Hall will take place on August 29 @ 10:00 AM. You can see a list of other Town Halls and Public Meetings regarding the budget here.

Although these meetings are hosted by a particular district and city councilmember, all are invited to attend from across the city.

Additional details for this meeting will be posted on the City Calendar as they become available.

The Council is scheduled to approve a tax rate, as well as the fiscal 2021 Capital and Operating Budget, on Sept. 22.

How to Attend

Residents can provide feedback on the proposed budget via email to FWConnection@fortworthtexas.gov.

During each of the meetings, ask questions via phone or text at 817-682-6039.

From the 2015 adoption of the T Masterplan, to the 2017 start of the Tarrant Transit Alliance to today, we have been waiting for the City of Fort Worth to make REAL investments in our city's transportation future.

They have kicked the can down the road as they went through the Transit Moves Fort Worth Masterplan. This plan has now been finalized, and the Trinity Metro budget request is the first step in making this plan a reality.
