MAKE SURE YOUR VOICE IS HEARD!
HELP SUPPORT TRANSIT IN THE 2021 BUDGET
Several Fort Worth City Council Members will be holding Town Halls to discuss the budget & hear from their constituents. We are calling on YOU to attend these Town Halls and let city council know how important transit is to you, your community, and your business.
The District 2 Town Hall will take place on August 20 @ 6:00 PM. Councilmember Carlos Flores, City Manager David Cooke, Transportation & Public Works Director William Johnson and Chief Kraus will be the presenters.
You can see a list of other Town Halls and Public Meetings regarding the budget here.
Although these meetings are hosted by a particular district and city councilmember, all are invited to attend from across the city.
Additional details for this meeting will be posted on the City Calendar as they become available.
The Council is scheduled to approve a tax rate, as well as the fiscal 2021 Capital and Operating Budget, on Sept. 22.
This meeting allows Public Comments, and is designed to hold these comments in more of a Q&A format and less in a "public speech" format. We wanted to make sure you were prepared as you prepared to attend this session.

From the 2015 adoption of the T Masterplan, to the 2017 start of the Tarrant Transit Alliance to today, we have been waiting for the City of Fort Worth to make REAL investments in our city's transportation future.
They have kicked the can down the road as they went through the Transit Moves Fort Worth Masterplan. This plan has now been finalized, and the Trinity Metro budget request is the first step in making this plan a reality.
Please RSVP here so that we know you are planning on attending.
