As such, a contribution to a to 501(c)(4)s are not tax-deductible as charitable contributions because of our ability to engage in an unlimited amount of lobbying and affect the political process directly. Your contribution gives us the opportunity to accomplish real change for transit in Tarrant County.
For-profit entities may be eligible for a business deduction for a contribution to the Tarrant Transit Alliance, as long as these contributions are not given for lobbying, political activity, or if the Tarrant Transit Alliance lobbies on matters of direct financial interest to the company's business.
